Using the Duracell Energy app
Logging in, fixing 'Data Unavailable' and setting scheduled charges in the Duracell Energy app.
The Duracell Energy app lets you see how your solar and battery are performing, look back at past energy use and set when your battery charges.
Logging in for the first time
When we install your system, we set up a Duracell Energy account for you.
- Look for an email from noreply-app@duracellenergy.com with temporary login details. Check your junk folder if you can't find it.
- Download the Duracell Energy app.
- Log in with those details. You'll be asked to choose your own password.
If the app says Data Unavailable
This message appears in the top left of the app. Tap the small information icon next to it to see why. The usual reason is that the inverter has lost its Wi-Fi or internet connection, for example after a router change. See Reconnecting your Duracell Energy system to Wi-Fi.
You can also try:
- Closing and reopening the app.
- Restarting your router.
- Checking the lights on the inverter and battery are on.
Setting scheduled charges
If you're on a tariff with cheap overnight electricity, you can set the battery to charge at those times.
- Log in and tap the menu button at the top right, or the battery icon on the home screen.
- Choose Schedule Control, then Charge / Discharge.
- Tap Edit on a session. Set the start and end times, the charge rate and which days it should run.
- Turn on the toggle in the corner of the session.
You can have up to three charge sessions and three discharge sessions. Make sure they don't clash with each other, and that each one is switched on. You'll see a message when a session saves.
